I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Northeastern University, Boston.
This coming July-December 2025, I will be a Visiting Fellow at the School of Philosophy, Research School of the Social Sciences, at the Australian National University.
In 2023-24, I was a Joint Fellow-in-Residence at Harvard University, a position held jointly with the Edmund and Lily Safra Center for Ethics and the Center for Research on Computation and Society.
My current research explores how philosophical problems in ethics and justice depend on information: who possesses it, how it is accessed and controlled, and what that information is about. This research aims to contribute to the nascent field of the moral and political philosophy of computing.
Previously, I was an Interdisciplinary Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Ethics in Society, Stanford University, in conjunction with a part-time placement at Apple University, Apple Inc.
I received by PhD in Philosophy in 2019 from the Australian National University, under the supervision of Seth Lazar, Alan Hájek, Christian Barry and Philip Pettit.
